| What's everyone's plans? Personally, I get back from Amsterdam at 5pm on the 31st and then either have to get to Dundee or get to a party (both methods will involve heavy drinking as is my way.) This isn't a crasher thread, I'm just curious as to the general plans of my fellows, Also, what the shit is with some of these forum emoticons? When willl they ever be used? What the hell is this?! And is a bit... off. | |

| I was slightly confused as to what you were talking about, so I looked up the topic title on the internet - we call it New Year's down in Angle-Land. So at first I was like , then I was like . Tbh, I have no idea what I'll be doing on New Year's, although I can assume I'll still be in Sheffield at that time. I guess it depends if I get invited anywhere...(not a desperate plea to be invited anywhere btw, I'm sure something will be going on in Sheffield that I may or may not hear about when I get back). Apparently is supposed to be a monkey. as evidenced by the fact it that : monkey : is the code for it . I'm more at the fact they think is a valid representation of a geek. | |

| I have to say, has a bit of the Marty McFly to it. I suspect I'll be down in Norfolk with my father, although given that my mother is suing him it may be subject to change. | |

| Suing?! For what?! At least he didn't give your mum clap when she was pregnant (AHEM)
I'm actually temtped to have a massive party in Dundee for the hairy lulz simply because there's enough floor space for everyone in David's flat (He's sitting behind me and is hilaritised by the ides of everyone in his living room on sleeping bags.)
Apart from anything else, it's the only good reason you'll get to be in Dundee xD
But yeah, sorely tempted.

| Theres the edinburgh street party, which is good. And the pubs and places here are of good quality. Traveling to dundee would be fun though. Since I'm going to aberdeen next weekend I'll be like travelling all over scotchland. | |

| Unless some other unforeseen circumstance comes into play (getting a job, for example), I may be staying at my grandparents in Newport, in Wales. | |

| Um, suing for forging her signature on a timeshare he defaulted on and left her stuck with.
HE MIGHT GO TO JAIL FOR FRAUD, YAY. \O/
But yeah, if I'm not down in Angleshire I'd be stoked for raping Dundee 8D

| I would stay in Edinburgh, but I kinda havent seen my family in over a month (and thats just my close family, nevermind all the other relatives) and that was just for a weekend. I realise I just used two 'and thats' which makes for muddy writing, but who cares... Anyway, unless something bizzare happens between now and then, I will be spending my new year's in the warm comforting clutches of my hometown. (Although we should totally arrange some online get-togethers over the holidays, maybe all jump into steamchat, or play some TF2 ) In a completely unrelated note I may embrace my American heritage and celebrate thanksgiving on thursday just for the hell of it. Maybe even go out for a meal. I don't know, really, the thought just crossed my mind... | |

| AN UPDATE: I'll be back on the 30th. I'd be happy to do something for New Year's, but the rest of the holiday after that I'm going to spend with my mum. | |

| RIGHT GUYS.
Edinburgh partyflat at Colin's? David's saying it depends who he has down on crashing routes and it depends on his single flatmate, but if he's pissed off there's a double bed and a couch on the go.
I tell you what. The first person to have definite plans wins the right to host the semi-official CGS party.
3.. 2.. 1.. GO!
Edit; Rob, get a picture, I nearly missed your tiny post. In reply... LOLOLOLOLOLOLWALES. And i've not seen my family in abotu a month and quite frankly don't plan on going home more than bi-monthly if that. I'm sure you've all heard the tale of the little ned that could.

| Currently my house will be occupied, but I can solve that issue with a magic wand lol. I'll ask my parents if they can go do something at someones house for new years. I shall get back to you tomorrow if I see you at uni. If not then stay tuned folks! | |
